What is the Rollie Run? 

 

For the past few years, Heart and Soul has sponsored the Rollie Run Event the Saturday morning of festival to help kick off the festivites.  The 3 mile run is to benefit the Rollie Denker III Children's Education Fund.  All profits generated from the Rollie Run are donated to the Rollie Denker Foundation, Rollie Denker III Scholarship (awarded to a Springfield H.S. student), and the American Heart Association.

 

Rollie Denker III was a resident of Springfield Township & 1979 graduate of Springfield High School.  He passed of a heart attack in October 2004.  Rollie left behind two young children, a wife, wonderful family, & many friends.

 

Who: Open to runners & walkers of all ages, strollers are welcome

 

Time: 8am - 8:30 am - Sign in @ Homecoming Park

           9:15 am - Run Begins

 

When: Saturday, June 14, 2008

 

Where: Community Homecoming Park

            Angola Rd.
